Firefox Reader View

Updated on

Reader View in Firefox removes non-text elements in a web page to declutter web pages and make them easier to read. Buttons, advertisements, background images and videos are all removed from a web page to leave only text. This is great for accessibility as it can help with ADHD and various cognitive disabilities.

In order to use this tool, you need the Firefox web browser. To download Firefox, go to the Mozilla Firefox download page and click the "Download Firefox" button

Enabling Reader View

If a page is available in Reader View, the Reader View icon will appear in the address bar (icon seen below).
