The automated Accessibility Checker in Microsoft can verify your file against a set of rules that identify some of the possible issues for people with disabilities. Accessibility Checker classifies each issue as an error, warning, or tip. It is also recommended to check for any accessibility issues manually.
Open any PowerPoint.
Select the "Review" button from the top.
From the "Review" ribbon select the "Check Accessibility" button.
If there are no issues, a "No accessibility issues found" message on the right will be displayed. But if there are any errors, a list will appear on the right.
Selecting any of these will bring you to the issue and highlight it in the slide.
For this example, the Southern New Hampshire University would be the image that is missing alternative text.
