Embedding a YouTube Video into a Kahoot

Why Switching to Poll Everywhere is the Preferred Choice

While Kahoot has been widely used in classes and meetings, we encourage transitioning to Poll Everywhere as a best practice for interactive learning and engagement. Poll Everywhere offers several advantages that support a more inclusive and flexible user experience, such as:

  • Expanded Support Resources: We have a comprehensive collection of articles and guides to help you get started and make the most of Poll Everywhere. You can explore them here: Poll Everywhere.
  • Direct Vendor Support: We can arrange meetings with the Poll Everywhere team to resolve any technical issues, request feature enhancements, or explore accessibility improvements—something not possible with Kahoot.
  • Greater Accessibility Options: Poll Everywhere allows us to advocate for and implement new accessibility features, ensuring a more inclusive experience for all participants.

Another benefit of using Poll Everywhere is the ability to meet with their team to address issues and request accessibility features, something not possible with Kahoot. Also, embedding YouTube videos in Kahoot requires a paid subscription, whereas Poll Everywhere offers more flexibility without requiring an upgrade for basic functionality.
